Your Personal Card

There are several ways to use the Tarot to help us to know a little more of ourselves.

We are going to make the necessary calculations to discover which is our personal card

The personal card shows us wich are our natural qualities, the tools that we have in this life and we have to us it on our personal development.

How the Personal Card is calculated

The Personal card is established through the sum of your birth date, reducing it to a number between 1 and 22. Here there are some examples:

  • If you were born on January 9, 1967, your personal card number is 9 +1 +1 +9 +6 +7 = 33 = 3 +3 = 6 (The Lovers)

  • If you were born on April 27, 1979, your personal card number is 2 +7 +4 +1 +9 +7 +9 = 39 = +9 = 12 (The Hanged Man)

The resulting number corresponds to one of the Major Arcana and their interpretation will give you the key to your most innate qualities that serve to support you on your current path. Find here the number that corresponds to each arcanum and its interpretation

If you get the number 22 you have to know that It corresponds to The Fool which is unnumbered in the Tarot de Marseille or the number 0 in the Rider-Waite Tarot.

What good is knowing my Personal Card

When you discover which is your personal card you can work with it. You can make a meditation with that card, after a few minutes visualizing it. Discover what brings to you his meaning, what you recognize on it and what things do you have to work to reach his qualities.

It is a nice exercise that will help you in your personal and spiritual development, it is also another way of working with the Tarot and helps us to understand it better.
